One of the great strengths of UCF Ltd. is the ability to convert difficult
to process raw fibres through to yarn then fabric. To this end the new
facility in Bradford, West Yorkshire has been specifically designed
to provide the optimum facilities and conditions for UCF's unique and
highly specialised design and manufacturing operations.

The four main markets are:
Automotive & Industrial
Sophisticated, oxidised fabrics for fuel cells and friction materials
for use in automotive transmissions.
In the industrial sector, we provide fabrics for protection
against molten metal splash or welding sparks and suits for the offshore
oil industry.
Cable Water swellable yarns which
act as blockers to prevent water ingress in both communication and power
cables.
Fire Blockers
Yarn and fabric for use
in critical applications such as side wall or bulkhead fabrics for the aerospace industry and fire
blocking layers in seating.
Personal Protective Clothing
An extensive range of fire and heat resistant fabrics designed for today's
fire fighters, covers for bullet proof vests and protective coveralls
used by the Military and Police authorities throughout the world.
